Mostly no. The camera, Ghost Camera, projects, editing and sharing all work signed out and offline. You need to be signed in for three things: Cloud Save (backing projects up and restoring them on a new phone), publishing a Live Showcase Link, and redeeming a code.

Take a before photo, do the job, then come back and shoot the after. GalaRay lines the two up, styles them into a post and hands you the finished image or video to share.

Yes. Your photos and projects live on the device. What needs a connection is the AI work — captions, AI Branded Wallpaper and poster artwork — plus Cloud Save, Live Showcase Links and code redemption. Everything else keeps working on a site with one bar.

It shows your before photo faded over the live camera so you can stand in the same spot and match the shot. Line the two up until the match meter turns green and it locks on; turn on auto-capture (⚡) and it fires the shutter for you when the match is good enough.

Use Ghost Camera for the after — the faded overlay is what gets you back to the same spot, and the opacity slider makes it easier to see. If the after is already taken, the editor can nudge it: drag to reposition, pinch to zoom, and AI Align (Pro) matches position, zoom and angle for you. If the before was shot sideways, Ghost Camera shows a rotating arrow telling you which way to turn the phone, and lines the two up once you match it.

Yes — AI GalaRay Flow walks you through a multi-photo job: shoot all your befores, do the work, then it brings each before back in turn so you can shoot its after. It is metered by plan (free includes one, so you can try the whole thing end to end); the app shows what you have left before you start.

No. AI Bulk Import reads a batch straight from your camera roll and pairs them up for you — and it matches the same spot even when the two shots were taken from a different angle, a different distance or in different light. Anything it cannot confidently pair drops to the bottom, sorted into Befores and Afters by when each was taken. Spot a pair it missed? Press and hold the before, the Afters rise up to your finger, drop it on its after and it builds the card for you.

Settings → Recently Deleted. Deleted projects and photos wait there for 30 days and can be put back with a tap. Note that restoring from the cloud will not bring them back on its own — a delete travels between your devices on purpose, so Recently Deleted is the place to undo one.

Yes — Brand Kit. Add your logo, business name, phone, website and accent colour once and every post picks them up. The GalaRay watermark comes off on any paid plan.

Yes. Set up a post the way you like it, then save it as a Preset — layout, labels, frame, logo placement and colours — and apply it to the next job in one tap.

Yes — Enhance After Photo ✨, in the editor under Overlays, just below Font. One tap reads the photo and corrects what it actually needs: lighting, colour, clarity and detail. Pick Natural, Enhanced or Pro for how far it goes, hold Hold to compare to see your original, and tap ↺ to go back — the original is always kept. It only ever adjusts light and colour: it never adds, removes or redraws anything, and a photo that already looks good is left alone. It runs entirely on your phone, so nothing is uploaded. It works on the after only, on purpose — a before and after is a claim about the work you did, and brightening one side would exaggerate it. Free includes 3 enhancements; Pro and Business Pro are unlimited.

Open the project and tap Share. You can send the finished posts straight to Messages, WhatsApp or email, or publish a Live Showcase Link — a web page of the whole job that you send as a single link. Sharing images directly is capped at 50 photos (or 18 MB) at a time, whichever comes first; the sheet tells you how many it is sending.

A private web page of one finished project — your photos, your branding, your contact details — at a link you send the customer. It works in any browser with nothing to install. Free: 1 Live Showcase Link (30 days) — one link, ever, which goes dark 30 days after it is published. Pro: up to 15 permanent Live Showcase Links at a time, and Business Pro: unlimited permanent Live Showcase Links — they stay live until you turn them off, and their photos count toward your Cloud Save storage. The page is public to anyone who has the link, so it holds photos of your customer’s property — ask them first. You can turn a link off at any time.

Yes. Open the project, tap the clip to play it full screen and tap ✂️ Trim. Drag the ends of the filmstrip in — the frame turns yellow once you have cut something — then tap Done. You get two choices: Save as New Clip keeps the original and adds the shorter one beside it, or Save Video replaces the original. Either way it is saved straight back into the same project, so you are never asked where to put it. The trimming happens on your phone; nothing is uploaded.

Yes. In Studio, tap Generate AI Video Posts and choose Videos. Add a before video and an after video (from a project or your camera roll, up to two minutes each), pick a style and a format, and GalaRay builds one finished before & after video on your phone and saves it to the project: short clips play through once each with one cinematic reveal between them; longer clips cut back and forth at matching angles. Either way you get slow zooms, BEFORE and AFTER labels, your logo and business name, and music every cut lands on. The length follows your clips. Nothing is uploaded. A Pro feature.

Unlimited before & after posts with a small GalaRay watermark, plus Ghost Camera, projects, every layout, every label font and no export cap. Pro and Business Pro are each available monthly or yearly, and a new subscription starts with a 7-day free trial. Prices vary by country, so the plan screen shows yours — open Compare plans from Settings or tap any Pro badge.

No. There is a one-time purchase that removes the GalaRay watermark for good, with no subscription — tap the watermark switch on a free account and it is offered there. A paid plan also removes it, along with everything else it includes.

The watermark comes off and your own branding goes on — logo, business name, contact bar. It also unlocks AI Align, unlimited Enhance After Photo, AI slider videos, up to 15 permanent Live Showcase Links at a time and a bigger AI GalaRay Flow allowance, plus 50 GB of Cloud Save for your projects — your Live Showcase Links count toward that storage.

Everything in Pro plus the AI Content Studio — it reads your photos and writes the captions and on-video text, and generates poster artwork for a job — along with unlimited permanent Live Showcase Links, 200 GB of Cloud Save (your links count toward it), the largest allowances and the option to take the “Powered by GalaRay” footer off your Live Showcase pages.

Subscriptions are billed by the store you bought from. The quickest route is in the app: Settings → Manage subscription, which opens your store’s own screen. Otherwise it is iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or the Play Store app → your profile → Payments & subscriptions.

Open Compare plans and tap Restore purchases — that asks the store what you own and re-applies it. Make sure you are signed in to the same store account you bought with. If it still will not budge, email support@galaray.app and we will sort it.

Only when you ask. Photos stay on your device unless you turn on Cloud Save (your private backup), publish a Live Showcase Link (which puts that project’s photos on a public page at a link you choose to share), or use the AI Content Studio, which sends the photos it is writing about. Everything else — pairing, aligning, the Ghost Camera match, GPS — happens on the phone and is never sent anywhere.

Yes. Settings → Share usage data. It records which features get used and whether they worked — counts and errors, never your photos, names or location.

Sign in, then open Settings and scroll to the very bottom: Delete account is just above Clear all saved data. That removes the account and everything backed up to it. Photos still on your device stay on your device.
